About

Hi, I’m Fi, a Sydney-based surface pattern designer developing a creative practice centred on colour, pattern and decorative design.

I’m drawn to colour, texture and decorative design, and I’m particularly interested in the relationship between organic forms and graphic structure. I think about pattern as a complete visual story, where colour, shape and rhythm work together to create something expressive and engaging.

In 2026, I began a challenge to create one pattern every day for 100 days. What started as a personal project quickly became a way to develop my skills, discover my design voice and build a body of work.

This website serves as both a portfolio and a journal, documenting the patterns I create, the ideas I pursue and the ongoing development of a creative practice.
